The walls at Mory’s have always been lined with totems of Yale athletic lore. But the scale got a little grander—and the media a little more high-tech—with the recent dedication of the Thomas A. Beckett Hall of Champions. Literally a hallway, connecting the club’s main dining room with its bar, the space has large photos of scenes from all 35 Yale varsity sports, as well as digital monitors with searchable databases of Yale’s Ivy championship teams and varsity captains. The hall is named for Yale’s current athletic director, who recently celebrated 20 years in his post
