August 06, 2016 at 3:00 pm
Boston, MA

Calling all history buffs, outdoor explorers, park lovers, landscape architects, and curious Yalies to an afternoon with the National Park Service at the Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site. Frederick Olmsted, the famous mastermind of Central Park, the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair grounds, and our very own Emerald Necklace, had his home and offices in Brookline until 1989.

In celebration of the centennial of the National Park Service, the rangers at the Site will give a private tour through the historic design studios and outdoor landscape. The Young Alumni Committee will provide drinks and snacks before and after the tour. All Yalies are welcome, particularly Young Alumni!

Tickets are free but space is limited to 30 people! Please RSVP to plan accordingly. If you need to cancel for any reason, please reach out to Caroline so individuals from the wait list can join.
