Join YANA’s bi-monthly meeting, which will spotlight and strategize with nonprofit RotaCare Bay Area, whose mission is to provide free medical care for those who have the greatest need and the least access. Social Impact Bonds will be a discussion focus

Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA)'s next bi-monthly meeting will feature RotaCare Bay Area as the nonprofit spotlight and strategy session.

RotaCare's mission is to provide free medical care in the Bay Area for those who have the greatest need and the least access. RotaCare operates 12 free medical clinics serving the uninsured and underinsured with acute or chronic medical conditions in the Greater Bay Area. CEO, Elisabeth Whitney will discuss the organization and new funding instruments/opportunities such as social impact bonds.

In leading RotaCare, managing it's staff, 12 clinics, advisory council and partnerships with health care systems, Elisabeth's focus is on developing goals, priorities, and key strategies for future growth. She also runs EKW Consulting. Prior positions have included Executive Director of Capture the Dream, a nonprofit organization that provides low income individuals with financial support to achieve educational and career goals; and Director of Programs for SF Community Agencies Responding to Disaster. Her degrees include MNA, MPH & TM, and BS.
