Obituaries

In Remembrance: David Gates Overholt ’56 Died on November 21 2013

David Overholt passed away peacefully November 21, 2013, after an extended illness.  He was an attorney in private practice specializing in probate, estate, trust, and tax law.

An obituary appeared in the Los Angeles Times on February 14, 2014.

    David was a kind,loving,spiritual man whom I knew from childhood in California. He was an intellectual with a wonderful sense of humour. During his years at Yale he was a band member, and I have fond memories of football weekends. He was chief groomsman at my wedding. He was the brother I never had. Our last meeting was in London, England. I shall always treasure my memories of him.
