Preparing for AI in the workplace

A new course is preparing students to lead organizations incorporating AI technologies. Large Language Models: Theory and Application debuted this fall. Taught by Kyle Jensen, the Shanna and Eric Bass ’05 Director of Entrepreneurial Programs, and K. Sudhir, the James L. Frank ’32 Professor of Private Enterprise and Management and professor of marketing, the course aims to equip students with the fundamentals of how large language models work and explore their far-reaching impact in the marketplace.

Social impact program expands

Yale SOM has expanded the Program on Social Enterprise, Innovation, and Impact to serve as a hub for social impact activities across the school. The program, formerly known as the Program on Social Enterprise, will be led by Professor Judith Chevalier and will support and convene members of the SOM community in exploring the ways that for-profit, nonprofit, and government entities can find and deploy innovative strategies to achieve social objectives.

Two-year program offers dual degree

Yale SOM is expanding its longtime partnership with HEC Paris to deliver a unique opportunity that will allow early- and mid-career candidates to earn two master’s degrees in two years. The new dual-degree program, launched in January, allows candidates to earn a 14-month MBA from HEC Paris immediately followed by a 10-month master of advanced management from Yale SOM. Candidates will be admitted to both programs through a concurrent or consecutive application process.
