Bulldogs win! One game away from NCAA Tournament

The Harvard Crimson dealt the men’s basketball team a heartbreaker four weeks ago at Yale’s John J. Lee Amphitheater. Tonight in Cambridge, the Bulldogs returned the favor, prevailing 62–52 in a game that pitted the two teams tied for first place in the Ivy League with just one game left in the regular season.

Yale led throughout most of the game, buoyed by a strong performance from Javier Duren ’15, who had 22 points and 9 rebounds.

With a win against Dartmouth in Hanover tomorrow, the Bulldogs clinch the Ivy championship outright and go to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1962. If Yale loses but Brown beats Harvard, the Bulldogs still comoe out on top. Finally, if Yale loses and Harvard wins, there will be a one-game playoff between the cochampions to determine who goes to the tournament. Stay. Tuned.
