Throwback Thursday: goodbye to Old Sheff

In 1931, we published this image of the demolition of Sheffield Hall, the 117-year-old building that had housed the School of Medicine before becoming the main building of the Sheffield Scientific School. A tripartite successor known as Sterling-Sheffield-Strathcona now occupies the site.
