YaleBoston | 151st Anniversary Dinner

February 01, 2017 at 7:00 pm
Boston, MA

The Yale Alumni Association of Boston and its Vicinity was founded over dinner at the Parker House on January 29th, 1866. Due to an error in our historical records, we celebrated our centennial on February 3rd, 1967.

And so this year, the 151st in our history and the 50th anniversary of our centennial celebration, we're splitting the difference and celebrating on February 1st.

Please join us at Parker's Restaurant for what we hope will become an annual tradition, the YaleBoston anniversary dinner, held at the place of our founding. A three-course dinner is included with the purchase of a ticket; drinks are not, although attendees are free to purchase them and those inclined to contribute a bottle of wine for collective use may do so below.

Copies of A History of the Yale Alumni Association of Boston and its Vicinity will be available to peruse and purchase, and copies of "Mem'ries of Old Yale," the song written for our second annual dinner in 1867, will be distributed to all the guests. Those so inclined may join YaleBoston historian Brian Hoefling ES'12 after dinner for a short walk to the former Yale Club of Boston building, which still stands on Beacon Hill.

The dinner will be capped at thirty, so please purchase your tickets in a timely manner.
