He attended public schools in Boise and Eagle, Idaho, and completed his undergraduate education at Yale University, graduating in 1959. J.M. pursued several careers in various fields, including education, public service, arts management, and business. Regardless of occupation, he remained committed to historical scholarship, publishing four books and numerous articles. The Idaho Statesman published a full obituary on March 2, 2014. |
