YSN names new associate deans

New Associate Dean of Research David Vlahov will join YSN in July. Dr. Vlahov is a nurse educator, internationally recognized expert on urban health among vulnerable populations, and innovative scientist who joins Yale from UCSF’s School of Nursing, where he served as dean for five years. He is an elected fellow of the National Academy of Medicine (IOM) and of the American Academy of Nursing. Vlahov previously served on the nursing faculty at Johns Hopkins and Columbia Universities, and was adjunct professor in the medical schools at Cornell, Mount Sinai, and New York University.

YSN has also named a new associate dean for finance and administration. She also serves as director of YSN’s Biobehavioral Laboratory.
