New joint major offered in computer science and economics

Beginning this fall, a new joint major in computer science and economics will offer undergraduates hands-on research opportunities and prepare them to leave their mark on the world’s digital economy. The new major enables students to pursue the computer science and economics interdepartmental major and explore the practical and theoretical connections between the two disciplines while developing highly prized skills.

The Co-Op shirt returns

The once famous Yale Co-Op shirt has become available again at the Yale Barnes & Noble store in New Haven. The button-down oxford, an icon of Ivy league fashion, was for six decades produced by New Haven shirtmakerGANT and sold at the Yale Co-Op, long known as the birthplace of the “Ivy League Look.” Although GANT stopped production of the iconic shirt in 2014, Yale’s Office of Marketing and Trademark Licensing reintroduced an updated version of it by working with Connecticut-based Vineyard Vines, which also sells it online.
