YSD productions feature student work
Each season, Yale School of Drama produces a series of productions created and supported entirely by the professionals in training at the school. The 2018–19 edition kicked off in October with shakespeare’s as u like it, an immersive theatrical experience adapted by Emma Weinstein ’19MFA, who also directed, and Michael Breslin ’19MFA. In December, Jecamiah M. Ybañez ’19MFA will direct Seven Spots on the Sun by Martîn Zimmerman, and Aneesha Kudtarkar ’19MFA will direct Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress. During the spring semester, the school will present the Carlotta Festival of New Plays, fully produced productions of works written by School of Drama playwrights.
