Light & VerityAlumni by the numbersMark Zurolo ’01MFASource: Research USA Survey. View full imageIf you’re like 60 percent of your fellow Yale alumni, you have been known to buy wine by the case. Yalies on average buy 3.3 cases per year, according to a survey of our readers. Just under 30 percent said they had bought distilled liquor by the case in the past year—0.9 cases per year on average. A caveat: the survey was done in 2006, before the economy collapsed. We’re not sure if the figure would be lower now (less disposable income) or higher (more to drink about).
