Yale College is no longer the Congregationalist stronghold its founders created 310 years ago. But a majority of undergraduates still identify themselves as Christians—if the data Yale collected from the classes of 2011 through 2014 are representative.

That's a big if: all entering freshmen got a religious information form in their registration packet, but filling it out was optional, and only 46 percent did. Still, the data give a fascinating snapshot of the college today.
