Every year, new Yale students from warmer climes are introduced to New England winters. But some years offer a more dramatic introduction than others. Here are the 10 Connecticut winters out of the last 75 with the highest total snowfall accumulations. (These figures are for Windsor Locks, Connecticut, about 50 miles inland; the totals in coastal New Haven were likely lower.) No figure yet, of course, for 2012–13, the Year of Nemo.
