As college football uniforms get ever more flamboyant, Yale takes the field this fall in its most conservative design in years. To replace the jerseys that debuted in 1999, coach Tony Reno set out to honor Yale teams of the past with a classic, simple approach. (Running back Khalil Keys ’15 models the away jersey at far left, the blue home jersey at near left). With the modern-era bulldog logo removed from their sleeves, the Bulldogs will look strikingly similar to the teams coached by Carm Cozza. Only the pants have a markedly new scheme, featuring a single, narrowing blue stripe.
