You’ll have to join a construction crew to get a view like this of the nave of Sterling Memorial Library—at least for the next several months. Until September 2014, the heart of the library is closed for a $20 million restoration and reconfiguration of library services. Since June, patrons have been routed through a set of enclosed walkways to get to the stacks and to a temporary circulation desk in the periodical reading room.
