I have a bad feeling about this

For two years, a poster of Han Solo encased in carbonite—as seen in the Star Wars installment The Empire Strikes Back—has graced the Bass Library tunnel. It first went up as part of a “May the Fourth Be with You” celebration, thrown by the Bass staff in 2017 as an antidote to reading-period stress. When it disappeared some time later, students missed Han so much that the staff chipped in for a replacement poster. 

For most of us, though, Bass and the tunnel might as well be in carbonite just now: they’re closed for a renovation project until the fall.
