Unlike some colleges, Yale brought a limited number of undergrads to campus last fall, despite the pandemic. How did it go? Not so bad. Precautions such as quarantine on arrival, twice-weekly testing, remote classes, masks, and contact tracing kept numbers in the low double digits. Says COVID-19 coordinator Stephanie Spangler, “The Yale community’s unflagging diligence in following health and safety measures made a successful on-campus Yale experience possible this fall.”
