In January, Yale announced that it would continue to support New Haven Promise, a scholarship program for New Haven Public Schools graduates, through 2026. The university also said it would increase its contribution from $4 million annually to $5 million. Since 2010, New Haven Promise has offered scholarships of up to full tuition to in-state colleges for students who meet its minimum GPA and other requirements. Here are some of the results.

Note: in the print version of this graphic—and in an earlier version online—the number of Promise Scholars awarded scholarships to Yale was reported as 37. That is the current number of Promise Scholars at Yale.
