COVID update

The community COVID-19 level in New Haven County, as reported by the CDC, rose from medium to high in early January and returned to medium again on February 2.  Yale did not adjust its restrictions during the rise, but in an email, COVID-19 coordinator Stephanie Spangler encouraged the community to consider masking indoors and other measures during high transmission.

Yale’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic, which had been housed in temporary locations since January 2021, was integrated into the immunizations department at Yale Health starting on February 2.
