Yale alumni have until May 21 to cast their vote in the annual election of a member of Yale’s Board of Trustees. This year’s candidates, selected by the Alumni Fellow Nominating Committee, are Maryana Iskander ’03JD of Johannesburg, South Africa; and Lauren Tyler ’84 of Stamford, Connecticut.
Iskander is CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit behind Wikipedia. At Yale, she is a member of the President’s Council on International Activities. Tyler is head of human resources for assets and wealth management at the financial services company JPMorgan Chase. She is a member of the committee for Yale’s “For Humanity” capital campaign.
All Yale graduates are eligible to vote except Yale College alumni who are less than five years out. Ballots were sent in mid-April, along with additional biographical information on the two candidates. Alumni who haven’t yet received their ballots should write to yalehelp@electionservicescorp.com.
