Yale art that you can wear
If Magritte painted a Cubist vision of Yale's Science Hill—and then turned it into a fashion statement—he might awaken from his hallucination to find Elliy Peng ’12. A psychology major who decided her senior year that she also needed a physics degree, Peng then graduated to become "a free-floating self-employed artist person," she writes on her website, Loop Theory. Why? "Well that's easy—she's not from this world, or this universe!" Loop Theory is wearable art that "entail[s] both metaphysical and metaphorical reflections of an illusive Yale based in reality but perceived only through memory in the realm of mind," Peng writes.
