Yale announced yesterday that its two new residential colleges will be named for Pauli Murray ’65JSD and Benjamin Franklin. Campus bulletin boards this morning suggest that some students think Yale chose the wrong Franklin. (It’s worth noting that both Franklins got honorary degrees from Yale, Ben in 1753 and Aretha in 2010.)
