Opening today at the Yale University Art Gallery: Art and Industry in Early America: Rhode Island Furniture from the Colonial and Early Federal Periods. Informed by new scholarship and discoveries, this first major survey of Rhode Island furniture in 50 years features items from Yale’s own collection and loans from the Metropolitan Museum and others.
