Before the big dig

The humidity has broken, and it’s a nice morning to sit in the Hall of Graduate Studies courtyard while there’s still time: HGS will soon close for a major renovation. When it reopens in 2020 as a center for the humanities, there will be a large lecture hall and a film screening room beneath that courtyard.
