Heat wave

As a member of the Class of 1913 once wrote, “It’s too darn hot.” Classes started yesterday in the midst of a heat wave. Some sports practices and other outdoor events were canceled, and college heads invited students to sleep in air-conditioned common rooms. Temperatures are supposed to drop to the 70s tomorrow.
