Everything alt is neu againRemember the Old Heidelberg, the bar and eatery in the basement of the Hotel Duncan? It closed in 1991 and was succeeded by a couple of Thai restaurants, but now it’s back. As part of the transformation of the Duncan into the upscale Graduate Hotel, the developers revived the Old Heidelberg. Bartender Mike Romano (pictured) says many of the old furnishings—like the “IITYWIMWYBMAD” sign and the 1980s vintage TV—were found in storage.
