Artist James Prosek ’97, who made his name while still an undergrad for his paintings of trout, has a new exhibition at the Art Gallery through June 7 called Art, Artifact, Artifice. It’s a combination of artifacts from the Peabody Museum, works from the Art Gallery, and Prosek’s own art, which has evolved in surreal and often fanciful directions. Shown here: Bird Spectrum, a Prosek creation using Peabody specimens.
