Throwback Thursday: when Yale hosted the world

Twenty-five years ago this week, more than 3,000 athletes and coaches from 141 nations came to New Haven for the Special Olympics World Summer Games. President Bill Clinton ’73JD was on hand for the opening ceremonies (pictured) at the Yale Bowl.
