We found this leaf pile on Rose Walk yesterday, just waiting for someone to jump in. With some difficulty, we restrained ourselves.  |

The comment period has expired.Restraint is good. As an elder-statesman leaf leaper, I have learned that while the start of the descent can be ecstasy, the finish, which would be on hard pavement if the leaves are dry and yielding, can require a trip to the ER. This is not a way to bring back pleasant childhood memories.
