Yale’s baseball stadium, known for its first 94 years simply as Yale Field, has been renamed to honor former US president George H. W. Bush ’48. Bush was first baseman and captain of the Yale baseball team in his senior year and helped take the Bulldogs to the College World Series in 1947 and 1948.
