Throwback Thursday: Woolsey in bronze

One hundred twenty-five years ago today, in our June 10, 1896, issue, we celebrated the upcoming dedication of the Theodore Dwight Woolsey statue that still graces the Old Campus. “A man of truth and a true man was Theodore Dwight Woolsey,” said the Reverend Joseph Twichell at the dedication on Class Day, June 22, “in the sight both of heaven and earth.”
