<>1901 Memorial Hall Rotunda 1901 aka Woolsey Hall Rotunda. Carrere & Hastings. WOOL. College St. 500.<> The whole interior design was entitled "Peace, Devotion, Memory, and Courage" 1913, sculptor Henry Hering, architect Henry Bacon, i.e. the architect of the Lincoln Memorial. <> Detail of the west side of the mosaic ceiling shows a torch and wreath. The corresponding east side of the mosaic ceiling shows an ancient oil lamp. <> Names of Yale alumni who died in battle since the Revolutionary War were carved in white marble, including those who fought for the Confederacy.
