This weekend, the traditional first-year holiday dinner returns to Commons after several years at 150 York Street. There will actually be two dinners: one on Saturday night for the Class of 2025, and one on Friday night for sophomores, who didn’t have a dinner last year due to COVID. Here’s a look back at the 2005 dinner, which we featured in our November/December 2006 issue. Yale College alums, what do you remember about your holiday dinner? |

<> Google Earth says 150 York St. is a parking garage. Don't tell me that's where they had the whole freshman class. Whaah?
There's a space on the first floor that Yale renovated as a place for events. I don't think it could fit the whole class--they may have done it in two shifts.
