Throwback Thursday: goodbye, chefs

Fifty years ago, in our June 1972 issue, we noted the departure of the Culinary Institute of America from Yale’s neighborhood. The CIA, founded in 1946, left its campus next door to the Divinity School for roomier digs in Hyde Park, New York. Its main building later became Betts House, now the home of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization.
