Throwback Thursday: deleted street

Our September 23, 1927, issue included this photo noting the conversion of Library Street to “a placid and delightful lawn.” Ninety-five years later, Yale and New Haven are preparing to convert the adjacent block of High Street to a pedestrian and bike path.
