Twenty-five years ago, in our December 1997 issue, we documented the rise of improv groups on campus—a phenomenon apparently new enough to readers to require quotation marks around the word “improv.” All four of the groups we mentioned in 1997—The Exit Players, Just Add Water, The Purple Crayon, and The Viola Question—are still around, joined in 2011 by a group called Lux Improvitas. Alums, did you do improv at Yale? What was your greatest moment?
