<>1971 University Health Services 1971 Westerman & Miller Assoc. -> Renovation 2009 by Charney Architects for the School of Engineering & Applied Science SEAS. HLH17. Hillhouse Ave. 17 <> In 1971 this building seemed to me to be too grim for a student health center. Hillhouse 17's new purpose to teach engineers is a better pairing with that forbidding Brutalist facade. The cold grey stone matches SSS and the suite of older industrial Gothic buildings on Hillhouse also built of Indiana limestone for the Sheffield Scientific School.
