Almost 10,000 years of service

Yale honored 323 faculty and staff last night at its annual Long Service Recognition Dinner in Commons. President Peter Salovey ’86PhD said that the employees, celebrating their 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, and 55th anniversaries at Yale, had collectively contributed 9,560 years of service to the university. Patricia Kane ’87PhD, curator of American decorative arts at the Art Gallery, got special mention for her 55th anniversary.
