Ghosts of the machines

If you left Yale before 2007, this photo may not ring any bells. But perhaps the words “Machine City” will help. The dimly lit assemblage of tables, chairs, and vending machines that was once part of Cross Campus Library was repurposed as the Wright Reading Room when CCL became Bass Library.
