Now and then: SHM at 100

One hundred years ago, in 1924, the Sterling Hall of Medicine opened on Cedar Street, bringing the medical school into proximity with its teaching hospital, then called New Haven Hospital. Seven years later, when Broad Street was closed and the building was expanded, the curved corner entrance became the semicircle you see today.
