After a large pro-Palestine rally on the Green yesterday, members of the group Occupy Yale lined the perimeter of Cross Campus with tents to create a “liberated zone.” The group demands that Yale disclose all its investments, “divest from genocide and war profiteering,” and “reinvest in New Haven.” Yale College dean Pericles Lewis hand-delivered a letter to the protesters warning that “students who continue to occupy Cross Campus without regard for university policies risk university discipline and arrest or re-arrest. Discipline could include suspension.”
