A job well done

On Wednesday evening, Yale celebrated the 21-year tenure of Kathrin Day Lassila ’81 (left) as editor of the Yale Alumni Magazine with a reception at Rose Alumni House. Among those who spoke in tribute were Paul Steiger ’64 (right), former managing editor of the Wall Street Journal and founding editor of Pro Publica, who is also a longtime member of the magazine's advisory board. Lassila retired in November; Peggy Edersheim Kalb ’86 is serving as acting editor-in-chief during the search for a permanent editor.
