Now and then: before the British (art) invasion

The Yale Center for British Art reopens on March 29 after an extensive renovation. These pictures, both from the roof of Paul Rudolph Hall, show the block of Chapel Street between High and York in 1972, before the center was built, and yesterday afternoon.
