On Sunday, Maurie McInnis ’96PhD was formally inaugurated as Yale's 24th president. 75 years ago, in our November 1950 issue, we published this photo of the inauguration of the 16th, A. Whitney Griswold ’29, ’33PhD. Both processions crossed Hewitt Quadrangle (aka Beinecke Plaza) on their way to Woolsey Hall.  |
