In Remembrance: Corning Chisholm ’37, ’53PhD Died on December 12 2013

Corning Chisholm died at 99 on December 12, 2013. A graduate of St. Paul's School and Yale University, he served in the US Navy during World War II before assuming his long teaching career, first at Trinity College. Subsequently, having obtained his PhD at Yale, he taught at Williams College then at Deerfield Academy. Upon retirement he returned to Cleveland where he involved himself in a variety of civic and volunteer activities.
