In Remembrance: Daniel Charles Cady ’45  Died on November 9 2013

Daniel Charles Cady, an air force veteran of the second World War and the Korean War, died on November 9, 2013, at his home in Coronado, California. He was 90. Cady joined the air force through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program at Yale and was stationed on the island of Tinian during the second World War along with other B-29 crews. After his discharge in 1946, he returned to Yale to complete his studies.

As a reservist, Cady was called to active duty during the Korean War, acting as chief of the Office of Small Business in New York City. After the war, he worked at the Pentagon as a consultant to the secretary of the US Air Force, producing training films.

An obituary was published in the Coronado Eagle & Journal on December 20, 2013.
