He was a Marine serving two tours of duty in Korea, then served as a Drill Instructor, and later served two tours of duty in Vietnam earning the Purple Heart and the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat V. He then worked as a Secret Service Agent during the Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and George H. Bush Administrations. He also worked in the Foreign Dignitary Protection Division until his retirement in 1985. The Capital published his obituary on December 12, 2013. |
