ObituariesIn Remembrance: Chris Nelson ’92 Died on December 23 2013Chris Nelson, a shipwright who traveled across the country restoring historic wooden boats using traditional methods, died in December 2013. He was 43. After graduating from Yale in 1992, Nelson was trained as a boat builder at the Landing School in Maine. A resident of New London, Connecticut, Nelson served on the city's planning and zoning commission and participed in several other community groups.
